Watching these amazing birds is a real treat. The Frigate Bird is not waterproof, so it cannot dive underwater. So it flies at altitude to spot the fish, then drops down to just above the water to grab it. In this one instance, the fish was a bit too big, and after many attempts to eat the fish, the Frigate Bird could not enjoy that moment's bounty, so it dropped it and found another. Nature is awesome!
